5 possible landing spots for free agent OF Teoscar Hernandez
1. Los Angeles Angels
The Angels have continued to underachieve and the franchise finds itself at a bit of a crossroads currently as it could lose superstar Shohei Ohtani this offseason while also potentially looking to deal former MVP Mike Trout. Whether it be losing one or both of those guys, the Angels could find themselves in the market for a power bat. Even with Ohtani and Trout, Los Angeles still ranked in the bottom half of the majors in several hitting metrics last season. The team also continues to deal with Anthony Rendon failing to live up to expectations of the huge contract the Angels gave him in 2020. Hernandez could not only provide power to the Angels’ lineup, but also some stability to the team’s outfield and DH position.
