Top 10 richest men’s college basketball stars based on NIL
6. Zach Edey
The senior center for the Purdue Boilermakers has an NIL valuation of $810,000.
Edey is arguably the most marketable player in all of college basketball considering that he was named as the No. 1 returning player for the 2023-24 season by ESPN and CBS Sports. However, since he is Canadian, he can’t profit from his name, image and likeness in the U.S. because of his student visa restrictions. But his potential to earn nearly seven figures could become reality soon considering that Purdue is assisting him in getting a new visa, according to CBS Sports.
“Obviously, you want to look out for yourself financially and Purdue is going to help me do that if I was to come back,” Edey said at a press conference in May.
Zach Edey has partnered with The Purdue NIL Store to release an officially licensed “Big Maple” hockey jersey.
“When we saw Zach’s mom do it, we were like ‘Man, this would be dope.’”
