The grad transfer had a historic five-year run with the Chanticleers. During his career at Coastal Carolina, McCall threw for 10,005 yards, 88 touchdowns and just 14 interceptions while rushing for 1,113 yards and 18 more scores on the ground. He is also the only player in the history of the Sun Belt Conference to be named conference player of the year three times.

Last year, McCall had put his name into the transfer portal following the departure of Chanticleers head coach Jamey Chadwell, who was hired at Liberty. Though he had a plethora of interest and even made some visits to programs, McCall withdrew his name and returned for one more season at Coastal. The year did not go well for the signal caller however as he threw for only 1,919 yards, 10 touchdowns and six interceptions in seven games while struggling with injury.
Given his impressive resume and winning track record, McCall is again one of the top names in the transfer portal despite the difficulties he had this past season. With that being said, here are five potential landing spots for the veteran quarterback.
