Fifth-Seeded Volleyball Outlasts RV Pepperdine, 3-2, In NCAA First Round

PULLMAN, Wash. – The 19th-ranked University of Dayton volleyball team outlasted RV Pepperdine, 3-2 (26-28, 26-24, 20-25, 25-14, 15-11), in a marathon battle during the NCAA Tournament first round. The two-hour and 43-minute match was played at Washington’s State’s Bohler Gym and the Flyers have advanced to the NCAA Second Round for the 10th time in program history.
