5. Larry Foust, C

A South Catholic High School alum, Foust has the unique distinction of having eight All-Star selections, but not being enshrined in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Foust tied for the league lead in rebounding in the 1951-52 season with 13.3 boards per game and paced the NBA in field goal percentage (.487) in 1954-55.

As a rookie, Foust played a memorable role in the lowest-scoring game in league history, as he scored the winning layup in Fort Wayne’s 19-18 win over the Minneapolis Lakers. He also played for the Lakers and the St. Louis Hawks in his dozen-year tour.
