Jordan Waters enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for RB

Oklahoma is one of a few schools already rumored to have reached out to Waters since he entered the transfer portal and could be a nice fit. The Sooners have remained nationally relevant with Brent Venables at the helm and are 10-2 in 2023 with their two losses coming by a combined eight points. The team has featured a solid rushing attack led by Gavin Sawchuk this season, but Oklahoma will need to add depth at the position with Tawee Walker and Marcus Major both entering the transfer portal. Waters could work in tandem with Sawchuk as he did with Jaquez Moore at Duke and would be a nice veteran presence on an offense that will likely be starting an inexperienced Jackson Arnold at quarterback next year.
