4. Buffalo Bills

If the season ended today, tiebreakers would have the Bills sitting at 11th in the AFC and out of the playoffs. Yet, a big win on Sunday over the Chiefs in Kansas City should inspire confidence that this team can not only still reach the playoffs, but also make noise once there. Upcoming games against the Cowboys and Dolphins will be tough, but winning one of those in addition to two easier matchups with the Chargers and Patriots should be enough to get in. The Bills’ defense has been better as of late despite being impacted by injuries and has held opponents to less than 19 points per game in 2023. The offense has looked better as well under Joe Brady with the increased utilization of James Cook. It hasn’t been pretty, but with Josh Allen, Buffalo could still be a title contender.
