Top 10 Maryland boys basketball players in the Class of 2024
10. Kris Johnson, G, Clinton Grace
Johnson is one of the top returning players in the Metro Private School Conference. Last season, Johnson led Grace Brethren, now named Clinton Grace, to a 24-11 record and an appearance in the MPSC championship. For his efforts, Johnson was named first-team all-MPSC and was also named the conference’s defensive player of the year.
The 6-foot-4 guard is one of the top returning players in the Old Line State, ranking as high as No. 6 in Maryland by PrepHoops. Johnson held numerous offers from Iona, Long Island, Mount St. Mary’s, Rhode Island, Norfolk State and Towson, but committed to and signed with UMass-Lowell on Nov.9.
