Chandler Morris transferring; 5 potential landing spots
5. Clemson
This seems like an unlikely destination for Morris given Cade Klubnik’s stranglehold on the Tigers starting quarterback role. However, with Chandler’s father, Chad, working as an offensive analyst on Clemson’s staff and being a former offensive coordinator for the program, it would make sense for the younger Morris to take a long look.
While Chandler wouldn’t get the starting job, he would make for a great potential backup for the Tigers. Current backup quarterback Hunter Helms has only attempted 37 passes in his career so he is inexperienced at the collegiate level. If head coach Dabo Swinney wants some insurance in case of a Klubnik injury, Chandler would be a good fit.
