If Chandler wanted to stay in-state, the Mean Green would be a great option. North Texas needs a quarterback after the loss of last season’s starter Chandler Rogers transferred to Cal. This leaves the Mean Green with backup Stone Earle in the starting role and while he had some success over two years at FCS Abilene Christian, has only attempted 48 passes for five touchdowns and four interceptions during his two seasons at North Texas.

While Chandler doesn’t have many ties to the Mean Green program, he is a Texas native who may be interested in staying in the Lone Star State. Add the fact that North Texas has one of the pass happiest offenses in the nation and it could be enough appeal for Chandler to join the team.
