Tate Rodemaker transferring; 5 landing spots for quarterback

Another former Baylor assistant, Shawn Bell, was recently named the quarterbacks coach for the Cougars. With the recent hiring of Willie Fritz, the quarterback situation at Houston seems uncertain as the team could continue forward with this year’s starter Donovan Smith, but that’s far from a guarantee.

For Rodemaker, he would join a Houston team that has high hopes under Fritz who found a lot of success at the Group of 5 level. Fritz and his staff also previously showed interest in Rodemaker by making him an offer out of high school. With the familiarity with the coaches and the opportunity to potentially start for a Power 5 program, Rodemaker should have some interest in the Cougars.
