Tate Rodemaker transferring; 5 landing spots for quarterback

Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire was on staff at Baylor when Rodemaker made an official visit to the campus in December 2019. While the Bears weren’t able to secure the quarterback’s commitment, it is clear he was interested in the program as it was the last official visit he made before committing to the Seminoles.

While McGuire is no longer at Baylor, he may still be interested in adding a signal caller. Behren Morton played well as a sophomore, throwing for over 1,500 yards, 15 touchdowns and eight interceptions, but wasn’t named the starter at the beginning of the year. Perhaps the Red Raiders would be interested in another competition with Rodemaker if they can win him in the portal.
