Ranking each ACC basketball team as conference play begins

11. Boston College

Boston College has already posted nine wins this season but has lost its first two ACC matchups to NC State and Wake Forest. Both defeats came in very close contests which gives hope that the Eagles will remain competitive throughout the conference season. However, the jury is still out on just how good this team really is as it lacks any signature non-conference victories outside of beating a 10-win St. John’s squad. Boston College does have one of the best players in the ACC on its side, Quinten Post, who averages over 18 points and eight rebounds. Alongside Jaeden Zackery and transfer guard Claudell Harris Jr., the Eagles should be formidable in ACC play but are unlikely to reach their first NCAA Tournament in 15 years.
