5 landing spots for Kyle Lowry after being traded to Hornets
1. New York Knicks
The Knicks are in prime position for another playoff run this season, but they likely are going to need to be active around the trade deadline to become a true threat in the East. New York already made a significant acquisition a few weeks ago by adding OG Anunoby in a trade with the Raptors, further solidifying its frontcourt. However, the Knicks could use more depth in the backcourt behind Jalen Brunson and Donte DiVincenzo and are also likely to move on from Quentin Grimes sooner than later. That means Lowry could be a logical addition, and his style of play seems like a perfect fit for Tom Thibodeau. Lowry’s postseason experience could also help New York as it looks to get over the hump after falling in the East semifinals to the Heat last year.
