Top 10 Canadian HS baseball players in Class of 2024
9. Liam Cruickshank, RHP, GBSA Rays Premier 2024
Cruickshank took a gap year to train after graduating from Loyola Catholic Secondary School. The 6-4, 200-pound pitcher increased his fastball speed from mid-80s to low-90s which led to an offer and commitment to play college at South Florida. At the WWBA World Championship last October, Cruickshank earned a spot on the All-Tournament team and has since solidified himself as a top 500 prospect in his class with the help of an eight-strikeout performance at the 2023 18U PG Fall Peach State Invitational.

Cruickshank works 2 strong innings in relief, surrendering 0 runs on 1 hit with 3 Ks.
Works downhill from a high arm slot that creates heavy spin on his FB, created plenty of s/m. @LiamCruickshank || @PBR_Ontario pic.twitter.com/tsDB2vx9gu
