7. Josiah Romeo, RHP/IF, Rawlings National Scout Team

Another hard-throwing pitcher with a fastball that tops out at 92 mph, it took him a little longer than others to gain the attention of Division-I scouts. The 6-3 pitcher put himself firmly on the map at the 2023 WWBA World Championship. Romeo struck out nine batters in four innings of work while allowing three hits and four walks. While a few other pitchers in the class can reach a similar fastball velocity, not many are throwing curveballs and changeups above 80 mph like Romeo. In late December of 2023, Romeo finally earned a major offer and committed to play at Florida State.
