Top 10 Canadian HS baseball players in Class of 2024
4. Tate Carey, RHP, Canadian Premier
The 6-foot, 200-pound pitcher out of Windsor, Ontario is one of the hardest throwers in his class, whether it be from the mound or the infield. His fastball sits around 90 mph and topped out at 94 mph at the Perfect Game World Wood Bat Championship last fall. At the 2022 PG CPBL All-Star Weekend, Carey recorded the top infield velocity at 90 mph. He’s performed well in showcase events, including a seven-strikeout performance in four innings at the WWBA World Championship. The Michigan commit has the potential to be an MLB draft pick this summer.
