After winning their third Super Bowl in the last five seasons, the Chiefs have become the NFL’s next dynasty as Patrick Mahomes continues his trajectory to becoming the greatest player the league has ever seen. Next season, Kansas City will have the chance to do something no other NFL franchise has: win three consecutive titles. Although it’s unprecedented, it’s hard to bet against this group right now.

The Chiefs do enter the offseason with a lot of questions surrounding their emerging defense as key contributors like Chris Jones, L’Jarius Sneed, Drue Tranquill and Willie Gay are all free agents. Travis Kelce will be another year older on the offensive side, but the unit should mostly remain intact while featuring budding stars Rashee Rice and Isiah Pacheco. It won’t be an easy road, but if Kansas City re-signs some pieces on defense and adds another weapon for Mahomes on offense, the NFL’s first Super Bowl three-peat could come to fruition.
