10 best NHL players to ever come out of British Columbia
6. Carey Price, G
Born in Anaheim Lake, Price was taken fifth overall in the 2005 draft by the Montreal Canadiens and made his NHL debut in 2007, embarking on a 15-year career with the team. He’s been selected to six All-Star teams and won the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2015, the first goalie to win the award since Jose Theodore in 2002. Price is top-30 in NHL history in career wins, saves and minutes played. Due to a debilitating knee injury discovered in 2021, he was forced to hang up his skates though his contract runs through 2026. Still, his .917 career save percentage makes him the best goalie ever from British Columbia.
Throughout Carey Price's (@CP0031) career, he's made some ridiculous saves. You'll want to take a look.
Watch him and the @CanadiensMTL take on the @MapleLeafs on @scotiabank #HockeyDay in Canada.
