Juuse Saros to be traded?; 5 possible landing spots
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BVM) –Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros placed fourth in the Vezina Trophy voting for the 2022-23 season, and now there is a real chance that he gets moved before the March 8 trade deadline.
The Preds are still in the running for a postseason spot, but does this team have the capability of doing anything if they get there? If general manager Barry Trotz decides to sell at the deadline, he likely does not think so.
Saros is certainly the organization’s biggest trade chip with him being under contract through the 2024-25 season. The emergence of former first-round pick Yaroslav Askarov with the Milwaukee Admirals is another reason to potentially move the 28-year-old star goalie.
These are five potential destinations for the Finnish goaltender if Nashville does trade him.
