5 X-factors for Tennessee Volunteers baseball in 2024
Nate Snead
Snead was one of a handful of pitching transfers who went to Knoxville in the offseason, but the former Wichita State reliever might be the most intriguing of the bunch. He has looked solid in his 10 innings out of the bullpen so far, frequently hitting triple-digits on the radar gun. Snead has 12 punchouts in his three appearances along with his 2.70 ERA. He looks like the team’s best reliever and he will be relied on in the biggest situations.
