5 X-factors for Tennessee Volunteers baseball in 2024
Robin Villeneuve
Villeneuve transferred to the Vols this offseason from Weatherford College in Texas with the expectation of some type of platoon role, but through seven games, he looks like an everyday player. The Quebec native is hitting .563 with a 1.759 OPS and has been Tennessee’s top hitter. He obviously will not be able to keep up those types of numbers, but can he still wind up being a top bat in the SEC? If so, that would be huge for the Vols moving forward.

Villeneuve has been on base 14 times in 19 PA. He has shown an extremely high knowledge of the strike zone. When he sees his pitch he hammers it. pic.twitter.com/5kEcj49dfD
