#4 Mammoths to Host NCAA Quarterfinal Saturday

AMHERST, Mass. - - The fourth-ranked Amherst College women's hockey team received an at-large berth into the 2024 Div. III NCAA Tournament wen selections were announced Sunday and will host a national quarterfinal at Orr Rink Saturday at 3 p.m. Amherst (21-3-2) will face the winner of the first-round game between Elmira College and Cortland State being played Wednesday at 7 p.m. This will be the Mammoths 9th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the most recent coming last year when they hosted the national semifinals and championship, falling to Gustavus Adolphus 2-1 in three overtimes, the longest Div.
