Top 10 Utah high school baseball players in Class of 2024
10. Cooper Hansen, LHP, Riverton
Hansen’s fastball has topped out at 84 miles per hour, the same as his exit velocity off the bat.
He was an integral piece at Riverton High School last spring, as he hit a .329 average as a junior. He also drove in 24 runs, while scoring 17 himself. With his help, the Silverwolves went 22-10 and finished first in their region standings.
Hansen — the second-ranked left-handed pitcher in Perfect Game’s state class rankings — has yet to commit to playing at the next level.
Cooper Hansen (‘24, Riverton, UT) drives this ball the other way for a 2-RBI single. Lean frame w/ athleticism. Short, compact stroke w/ AA bat speed. Uses the entire field well. AA speed allows him to steal bases often. Intriguing offensive profile #WestWWBA pic.twitter.com/vhvjr2u4n3
