Girls Basketball: Andover, Totino-Grace close seasons at state

Andover and Totino-Grace closed their seasons at the state girls basketball tournament March 13-16. In Class AAAA, Andover fell 74-48 against Minnetonka in the quarterfinals, and 72-64 against Rosemount in the consolation semifinals. Piper Engelby and Emma Frost scored 13 points apiece versus Minnetonka, with 11 each by Morgan Miller and Anna Vaaler. Vaaler added eight rebounds, and Miller had seven. Against Rosemount, Vaaler had 27 points and six rebounds, Engelby had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Miller had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Andover finished with a 24-6 record.
