Devin Askew enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Kansas State Wildcats

Kansas State has a young backcourt in place that includes future star Dai Dai Ames and talents like R.J. Jones and Dorian Finister. The Wildcats are also likely to retain high-volume scorer Cam Carter, but they will lose leading scorer Tylor Perry. Guard might not be the highest priority for Jerome Tang in the transfer portal, but replacing Perry with a veteran piece like Askew could be a nice option. Tang has had plenty of success with bringing in players from the transfer portal and having them thrive in his system, perhaps allowing Askew to finally realize his full potential in his senior year. Another draw to Manhattan for Askew could be associate head coach Ulric Maligi who spent time with him at Texas during the 2021-22 season.
