9. Paul Jones II, 1B, Cretin-Derham Hall
Jones excelled for a strong Raiders team last spring. The 6-foot, 195-pound first baseman hit .416 with a .550 on-base percentage and 1.290 OPS with 32 hits, seven doubles, and six home runs for his 20-6 Cretin-Derham Hall team.
Expectations are high for Jones this season. He was selected to the PBR Minnesota Player of the Year Watchlist and was named the preseason player of the year by Breakdown Sports Media. Jones is ranked as the No. 11 player in the state by PBR and sixth by Perfect Game. He signed with the Maryland Terrapins on Nov. 8.
