Top 10 Wisconsin HS baseball players in Class of 2024
6. Nolan Buss, RHP, Arrowhead
Buss has good baseball bloodlines as his older brother, Mason, was also a star on the diamond at Arrowhead and is now a sophomore pitcher at Kansas State. Nolan plans to reunite with Mason in Manhattan, Kansas next year, but will first look to finish his prep career strong this spring with a talented Arrowhead squad that also features Class of 2025 standout pitcher Peter Kussow. The Warhawks went 21-7 last year in part thanks to Nolan who had several strong performances on the bump in 2023. The 6-foot, 190-pound senior continued his success on the mound throughout the summer with Hitters Baseball Academy, featuring a fastball that consistently hits the low 90s paired with a couple of strong off-speed pitches. His talented arm could lead Arrowhead on a deeper postseason run in 2024.
Loud stuff from @KStateBSB commit, RHP Nolan Buss (Arrowhead, 2024) in his start today.
Running FB sat 88-92 mph. Mixed in a sharp SL in the high-70s and flashed a fading CH to LHHs, too. #PBRatTheRock | @PBRWisconsin pic.twitter.com/uBXyNpCbj3
