Connor Essegian transferring: 5 landing spots for guard
Butler
A Fort Wayne, Indiana native, Essegian etched his name into the state’ high school record books as he finished his career No. 10 on the all-time scoring list. A return to the state cannot be out of the question and one of the teams that recruited Essegian most heavily out of high school was Butler, who were ranked in his top seven at the time of his commitment.
The Bulldogs may be in need for a guard too as the team’s third-leading scorer, DJ Davis, announced his decision to test the NBA draft while entering the transfer portal on Sunday night as well. If Essegian has a desire to play in his home state and still has a strong relationship with the coaching staff at Butler, the Bulldogs could be a solid fit for the guard.
