Creighton has proven to be one of the best teams in college basketball in 2023-24 but has also lacked depth throughout the season. Greg McDermott has a solid recruiting class coming in but will also lose one of the program’s top players, Baylor Scheierman, who has averaged over 18 points this season. In the backcourt, Francisco Farabello will be out of eligibility, so there certainly could be some holes to fill through the portal up and down the roster. Warrick is a potential fit in what has been a potent offense recently under McDermott. Although point guard Steven Ashworth is likely to return, Warrick could co-exist alongside him and Trey Alexander in the starting lineup or could fill a sixth-man role off the bench that Creighton has lacked.
