For the third consecutive week, an Oklahoma softball player has received Big 12 honors. Sooner utility player Alynah Torres is the Big 12 Player of the Week for March 18 -24. The OU senior and former transfer from Arizona State had an outstanding week at the plate in leading the Sooners to a weekend sweep of Baylor and four wins for the week. Torres collected five hits in eight official plate appearances, a .625 batting average for the week.
