Tony Perkins enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG
IOWA CITY, Iowa (BVM) – One of the Big Ten’s best point guards is transferring. Senior guard Tony Perkins announced his entrance into the transfer portal Tuesday after spending four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The 6-4 guard averaged 14.0 points, 4.6 assists and 4.4 rebounds this past season.

Perkins was a staple in the Hawkeyes lineup over the past four years, playing in 126 games with 81 starts. This past season was Perkins’ best as he averaged 14 points, 4.6 assists and 4.4 rebounds while playing in and starting all 34 of Iowa’s games. He earned second-team all-Big Ten honors for his performance.
