Tony Perkins enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG
Arkansas
The Razorbacks need guard help. Four guards have already entered the transfer portal and El Ellis and Jeremiah Davenport have both exhausted their eligibility. Even before those moves, Arkansas could have used an experienced point guard to lead their offense. Thus, it makes sense why the Razorbacks have already reportedly reached out to Perkins.
While Arkansas had a bad season this year, it has proven to be able to attract plenty of talent out of the transfer portal. Perkins would also be playing for an SEC program just one year removed from a Sweet 16 appearance and two years removed from an Elite Eight appearance. If Perkins is willing to bet that the 2023-24 campaign was more of a bump in the road than a sign of things to come for the Razorbacks, Arkansas could be a great fit.
