Tony Perkins enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG
Butler
A native of Indianapolis, Perkins may be interested in returning to his hometown. The Bulldogs could also use a guard after losing DJ Davis to the transfer portal. While Butler missed out on the NCAA Tournament this year, it appears to be trending in the right direction under head coach Thad Matta, improving from 14-18 in his first year to 18-15 in Year 2.
While this would be a homecoming for Perkins, it would also provide him with the opportunity to contribute immediately to a high-major program on the rise. If Perkins has a desire to return home, the Bulldogs would give him that chance.
