Frankie Collins transferring: 5 possible landing spots

TEMPE, Ariz. (BVM) – Frankie Collins could be playing for his third collegiate program in the last four seasons in 2024-25 after the standout guard recently entered his name into the transfer portal.

After bouncing around a bit during his high school career, Collins began his time in college at Michigan before taking a big leap in the last two seasons at Arizona State. In 2023-24, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound point guard averaged 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists, shooting 42.6% from the field and 31% from 3-point range.

Collins can certainly produce on offense when needed, but his ability on the defensive end is where he truly stands out. This season, Collins was fifth in the nation with 2.6 steals per game and also broke ASU’s single-season steals record (84).

Collins noted in his transfer portal announcement that a return to the Sun Devils is not out of the question, but the junior guard should garner plenty of interest from programs across the country thanks to his experience and ability on both ends of the floor. Here are five potential landing spots for Collins.
