A three-star recruit out of Marion, Indiana, Blackmon played for Grand Canyon University as a freshman before transferring to Stetson as a sophomore where he earned first-team All-ASUN and ASUN Newcomer of the Year honors. Blackmon comes from a basketball background as his father, James, was a McDonald’s All-American and played for the Kentucky Wildcats before going to the NBA and both of his older brothers played collegiately at Indiana.
Given his impressive scoring ability and basketball lineage, Blackmon should interest high-major programs looking for offensive help. With that in mind, here are five landing spots for the guard.
