Myles Rice enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Florida
Rice’s only high-major offer out of high school was from Washington State after assistant coach John Andrzejek received tape from his high school coach. Andrzejek served as Rice’s primary recruiter for the Cougars and eventually got him to sign with the program. Now the coach is an assistant with the Gators, who will be in the market for a point guard.
Zyon Pullin has exhausted his eligibility and fellow guard Walter Clayton Jr. may have played his way into the NBA draft and might opt to go pro. Even if Clayton returns, Florida could use a point man and Rice would give the Gators that. For Rice, he would stay at the high-major level for a program fresh off of its own NCAA Tournament appearance while playing for a familiar coach. This could be a good move for both parties.
