Myles Rice enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Georgia
Rice spent most of his life growing up in the suburbs of Atlanta so a return to his home state may be appealing for him. The Bulldogs could use an experienced guard as well. Leading scorer Noah Thomasson has exhausted his eligibility so there’s an opening at the point guard position and with young guards Silas Demary Jr. and Blue Cain on the roster, both could probably use a veteran leader to help them in their development.
Rice would get the opportunity to play for his home state program while having an opportunity for great playing time and joining a team with a lot of upside. While Georgia may not have had the most successful season this year, going to the NIT in Mike White’s second season is a sign of improvement and adding Rice could help the team return to the NCAA Tournament next season.
