Danny Wolf transferring: 5 landing spots for 7-foot center

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (BVM) – A top player in the Ivy League is looking for greener pastures. Sophomore center Danny Wolf entered the transfer portal Friday after two years with the Yale Bulldogs.

This season served as a breakout for the 7-foot, 255-pound big man as he averaged 14.1 points and 9.7 rebounds, both team highs, as well as 2.4 assists and 1.3 blocks for a 23-10 Ivy League Tournament champion Bulldogs team that made it to the Round of 32. This earned Wolf first-team all-Ivy League honors.

Wolf also proved he could play against high-major competition as he scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds against San Diego State in the Round of 32 matchup, scored 13 points with five rebounds against Auburn in the Round of 64 and scored 11 points with six rebounds and four blocks on the road against Kansas in a December matchup.

Given his NCAA Tournament experience, his strong play against high-major competition and his size, Wolf will likely attract plenty of attention in the transfer portal. With that in mind, here are five landing spots for the center.
