Thomas enjoyed a successful prep career in North Carolina and began his collegiate career in his home state at UNC Wilmington. After a slow freshman season, Thomas began to show flashes of potential in his sophomore year as he became a starter for the Seahawks while scoring seven points per contest.
Last offseason, Thomas transferred to Norfolk State, a move that led to an unbelievable breakout season. As a junior, the talented guard averaged 16.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.1 steals, shooting over 40% from the field, 38% from 3-point range and 81% from the free-throw line.
Thomas’s ability on both ends of the floor made him arguably the best player in the MEAC, and he is now one of the most talented mid-major point guards available in the transfer portal. Here are five potential landing spots for Thomas.
