Jordan Pope enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

CORVALLIS, Ore. (BVM) – A top scorer in the Pac-12 is transferring. Sophomore guard Jordan Pope announced his intention to enter the transfer portal on Tuesday after two years with the Oregon State Beavers.

Pope excelled over his two years in Corvallis. As a freshman in 2022-23, Pope averaged 13 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists on 43.6% shooting and 37.9% from deep while playing in 29 games with 28 starts, earning Pac-12 All-Freshman honors. This season, Pope took his play up another level, averaging 17.7 points, 3.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds on 45% shooting and 37.7% from deep to earn All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors.

Given his three-level scoring ability and his high-major experience, Pope should be a popular name in the transfer portal. With that being said, here are five potential landing spots for the guard.
