Jordan Pope enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Nevada
The Wolf Pack was in on Pope as a high school recruit, even finishing in his top four schools before he eventually committed to the Beavers. The staff that recruited Pope in high school is still in Reno and their roster needs guard help. With leading scorers Jarod Lucas and Kenan Blackshear both graduating, the Wolf Pack has plenty of minutes available in the backcourt and could use some offense. Nevada has also been to the NCAA Tournament each of the past two years and this may attract Pope after missing out on the event his first two seasons.
However, the Wolf Pack are a mid-major program and may not have the sort of NIL support Pope could land from bigger programs. If he values a coaching connection and winning over other things, Nevada could be a sneaky option for Pope.
