Jordan Pope enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Oregon
If Pope wants to stay in the state, the Ducks would offer him a great opportunity. Not only is Oregon coming off of a Pac-12 Tournament championship and Round of 32 appearance in the NCAA Tournament, but they need guard help with Jermaine Couisnard graduating and Brennan Rigsby entering the transfer portal.
Pope would be able to stay in a state where he has established some roots and a name that could benefit him in the NIL space. Additionally, with the Ducks moving to the Big Ten Conference next season, it would also give the guard an opportunity to boost his draft stock while staying at the high-major level. While it would be a rare defection from Corvallis to Eugene, the opportunity may be too good of one for Pope to ignore.
