Hailey Van Lith transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Ohio State Buckeyes
The Big Ten will have a bit of a different look next year with Iowa’s Caitlin Clark headed to the WNBA and Indiana forward Mackenzie Holmes out of eligibility. However, perhaps overlooked by many is the fact that Ohio State actually won the Big Ten regular season championship over those two teams in 2023-24. A big reason why was fifth-year senior Jacy Sheldon and transfer guard Celeste Taylor, both of whom are out of eligibility. Van Lith would be a terrific replacement for Sheldon in particular and would form a nice duo offensively with star forward Cotie McMahon. While they might not be the first team that comes to mind with Van Lith, the Buckeyes are certainly a sleeper to land the talented guard and could enter the national championship conversation next season if they do.
