Hailey Van Lith transferring: 5 possible landing spots

South Carolina continues to be the cream of the crop in women’s college basketball under Dawn Staley with four consecutive Final Four appearances and a national title in 2022. That should make the program an attractive target for Van Lith if she hopes to end her collegiate career on top. The Gamecocks have an abundance of young stars and another impressive recruiting class, so they are certainly not hurting for talent or depth. However, one of South Carolina’s most experienced players, Kamilla Cardoso, is headed to the WNBA. Being able to bring in an experienced locker-room voice like Van Lith could certainly help replace losing a leader like Cardoso, while her talent on the court would provide South Carolina with yet another backcourt weapon.
