Women’s Tennis Clipped by Quinnipiac, 6-1

Emmitsburg, Md. (April 6, 2024)— Sofia Kostriko continued her unbeaten run at No. 1 singles in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, but Mount St. Mary's fell to visiting Quinnipiac, 6-1, in a MAAC match at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts on Saturday. Kostirko improved to 3-0 in the MAAC and 9-1 this season with a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Quinnipiac's Anagha Shankar at the No. 1 spot in the lineup. Margherita Trolese had a strong effort for the Mount, falling in three sets at No. 3 singles. The Mount is back in action tomorrow with a 1:30 p.m. match...
