Oumar Ballo enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Baylor Bears

Baylor was one of three finalists for Ballo during his recruiting process and the Bears could be a potential option for the big man once again. Scott Drew also has a recent history of bringing in talented foreign bigs including current players Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua, Josh Ojianwuna and Yves Missi. The 7-foot Missi developed into a talented starter during his freshman season with the Bears, but he is likely headed to the NBA, leaving a big hole to fill in the middle. With some other members of Baylor’s frontcourt potentially gone including Tchamwa Tchatchoua and forward Jalen Bridges, bringing in more size will be critical for Drew this offseason. Ballo’s physical play on both ends of the floor would be valuable for a Baylor team that failed to reach the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament this season.
