Oumar Ballo enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots

Ballo was heavily recruited by Arizona while Sean Miller was still the head coach of the Wildcats and that tie could make the 7-footer a potential option for Xavier. The Musketeers took a step back this season after reaching the NCAA Tournament last year, in part due to their lack of a dominant post presence. Transfer forward Abou Ousmane was Miller’s best option inside and should be back next year after a solid, yet unspectacular 2023-24 campaign. Xavier does have multiple young bigs who could develop including Lazar Djokovic, Sasa Ciani and Kachi Nzeh, but Ballo would provide an experienced and established option next season for Miller. His physical style on both ends of the floor would also translate well to the Big East.
