Javon Small enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for PG

STILLWATER, Okla. (BVM) – A top point guard in the Big 12 Conference is on the move. Junior Javon Small officially entered the transfer portal on Monday after spending the past season with the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Small spent his first two collegiate seasons at East Carolina before transferring to Oklahoma State last offseason.

The 6-foot-3 point guard impressed during his first season at the high-major level, averaging 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists while playing in all 31 of the team’s games, each of which he started. This earned Small Big 12 honorable mention honors.

Given his success both at the mid-major and high-major levels and his ability to impact the game with passing, rebounding and scoring, Small should have plenty of attention in the transfer portal. With that said, here are five potential landing spots for the point guard.
