Mark Mitchell transferring: 5 landing spots for forward
DURHAM, N.C. (BVM) – Another noteworthy forward has entered the transfer portal. Sophomore Mark Mitchell announced he was transferring Tuesday after two seasons with the Duke Blue Devils.

The 6-foot-9 forward had two successful seasons with Duke, averaging 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 68 games with 67 starts. This past season, Mitchell brought his game up another level, raising his scoring average from 9.1 to 11.6 while also raising his rebounding average from 4.5 to 5.9.
As a former five-star recruit who has proven he can play well for a high-level, NCAA Tournament qualifying program, Mitchell will have plenty of suitors in the transfer portal. With that in mind, here are five landing spots for the talented forward.
